: R26 questions

Im seriously considering a R26 especially at the £15k buymynewcar are selling them at.
Is BMNC the cheapest place at the moment to source an R26? For people who have ordered from them how did you find the service? Did they deliver on time?
As for general Megane turbo ownership are there currently any problems that they suffer from?? Any weak points to them?
What sort of miles to a tank do ppl with 225/R26 get?

cactusbob 08-06-2007, 00:37:10 Depends on the price of the fuel :) Regular UNL at the moment getting on for £50. Most of my driving is in MK though, so it's accelerate -> brake -> roundabout -> repeat :)

im getting about 300 miles to a tank (about 30 mpg i think)

Clio Trophy atm.... live in LB but work in completly the opposite direction to MK!

I'd recommend a test drive in the R26.... think that'll confirm your choice!

Yeah clio was stripped with buckets and anthracite wheels.
Liquid R 08-06-2007, 12:33:29 Yeh I'm getting about 300 to a tank about 27.8 mpg, £50 to fill up with Shell Optimax at the moment was £45 couple of months ago. Fuel consumption is very good for the performance your going to get.
wilkinss 08-06-2007, 13:08:08 I am waiting for mine to arrive, went into a dealer to pick up a new spot light for my clio, they had a second hand R26 in, which I had a test drive in, ended up ordering a brand new one a week later, gotta say it was the most expensive spot light I have ever bought :-).
Have a test drive, and you will order one for sure.
