as far as i am aware, the companies mentioned buy the car from reno uk as a type of fleet car, hence the discount. could be completely wrong though ;) lol. haha

Are you financing too? Dealers might not get as low on the price, but can certainly play with finance. Add the interest on top of a broker price, it's usually about the same.

Thanks Guys , Ill look into this I know that Id like to take advantage of the 4 years 0% as it only costs you £250 so am happy to pay £17k all in with options. Just waiting to see what the dealers come back to me with.

I could go for the £15k ish pricies but then Id have to part with the lot as cash. A good deal is not allways the lowest price to me. BTW any dealers reading this then please get in touch

I've just ordered mine from BMNC for just over £15k with spare wheel, but have a car that will cover half the cost. Have you not got something that you could chop in?

Northern rock do some good % on personal loans, they have a quick loan calculator on the main page, £15k over 36 months means you'll give them £1600 for the priviledge of them lending you the money.

After all that, if you can get one for £17k on the zero %, then that sounds like some less faffing! (at least for the sake of £400).

I'd rather give my £400 to Renault than Northern Rock. Money stealing :cussing:

True, but it's the only money they'd get, my servicing goes elsewhere, and they get the same profit on a broker vs own sale.

Got issues with Northern Rock, resulting in contacting the Financial Ombudsman.

Just checked Bank of Scotland do 6.1% and Alliance and Leicester do 6.4% (with £66 cash back).

Again, its small pennies and some faffing, but its your money.

This is what I found

If you are a cash buyer then the online deals are the cheapeast but if you are looking to fianance them then then its quite possible that the dealers ( in particluar Steve @ Wests can better the overall deal)

I paid only £1700 more for the car with options than the best Internet deal + 3.65% APR with Renault on the balance. My total ammount paid is less than the deals from BMNC and Nationwide-cars.

It all depends on how you are looking to purchase.
