My R26 is due to be delivered next monday through my local dealer, but they've heard nothing from the "factory" to say its even left!

I just wonder what everyone else's experiences were, and if mines the same?

my dealer has given me a date that they say is definatly within 48 hours of the car arriving. When we brought my gf's clio though, it was similar to you, no info until the day it arrived

that's weird ... they CAN tell you exactly where it is, as they are able to monitor the position of the vechicle through their software (while it is being delivered) ... mine is coming 2 weeks late(argh, darn and triple darn), but I am not in the UK, so I guess it's not very relevant

Mine is apparently in Southampton, was due on 12th, then 26th, then tomoz! Not sure when yet, but next few days!

In the meantime I have their dci175 to play with! :D

Mine's now supposed to be coming in on the 28th June (was 26th) but the dealers have said that Renaultsport have apparently now resolved all the issues they were having on delivery, so we could all be in for a nice treat (i.e. on time, as promised!)

I'm pieeeedddd!!

Rung today, new date 17 july, promised last week it would be on time and now its going to be 5 weeks late. The salesman was just blagging, telling me saying they don't have any info as they only get told once its on the boat.......not impressed!

I'll be battering him tomorrow over the telephone telling him they WILL paint the side bump strips black as they've bullsh*ted me for the past 4 weeks.

W***ERS!

Got a letter from Renault today saying my car was built and had left the factory but my delivery date has been pushed back until the 31st July. Dealer says its rubbish and it will be with them on the 9th, getting worried now

Email from dealer yesterday, they've rushed it through the depot in Southampton and being delivered to dealer Monday with hopeful collection for Tuesday!!

Dealer has been great Mine landed Friday. Check to see if the 1-2-1 team are dealing with it - they deal with delayed cars and help to push them through (think all are delayed but a question of how much you push!). I've seen the email from them saying it will be delivered on Monday although I'll still believe it when I see it! It should only take about 4 days from what I know to fit the alarm, locking wheelnuts and paperwork etc

My first date for delivery was around the 28th June, I am now back at the 17th July, to be fair to Renault they have kept me informed, I waited for my 172 for ages but was worth the wait so I am sure the R26 will be too. Suppose if you did not want to wait you should have bought an ST or even an Astra VXR as there seems to be stock of them.

I will be worth the wait.

It must be only for right hand drive cars as here i could go and get one from the showroom at many Renault dealers here. Hope you guy's get your new Meg's soon!
