Filming the track session [Archive]

is there anyone who is willing to film the track session that some of us are doing, it would be great if we could,

i not a video camera personly as i would have lent it out, but if there is anyone out there willing to do it it would be awesome :D

please an you let me alex or ddav know if you is able to help out ::D

We've got a video camera, digital, can take about 4 hours worth. Not got a tripod, but more than happy to take it and use it. What we could do with doing on the day is find a good vantage point to film from before we go out. Then send someone up there to record.

Is it an open lane on the day? I.e. can I take my wife out for a couple of laps, then come in and switch passengers? If so, she'll record a fair amount of it? Then I can upload all of it, to Alex's ftp site for anyone to edit and make look smart :):):)

i think its just a few laps matey first thing b4 the day kicks of but i could be wrong, dav has all the info im sure,

will have to get a filmer tho matey, will be awesome with us all going round :D

Im gonna have the bullet cam running on my car filming. Andy ive got a spare suction mound if you wanted to take your video camera with to mount in the car.

the bullet cam returns hopefully it will be more sensible than silverstone ;)

The more the merrier. If we get as many cameras as possible, and someone to agree to do the edit, with cameras at lots of places on the track we could end up with a dead smart video. Especially if some of those AX GT's are on track and we get to blast past...

Andy - it should be a full 30 mins on track? Anyone know where the nearest Shell garage is to Rockingham too, so I can fully fuel with V-power before we get there :D

If i remember correct theres a shell about 3 miles away i think not far from the holiday inn hotel.. will check and let you know MrT.

OK - in that case I'll fully fuel up on the Friday or Sat morn. By the time I've got there I should be around the 1/4 mark.

Looks like I'm going to have pretty fresh tyres all round too, possibly new-ish pads :)

WTF is all this talk of gallons anyway? I'm lost past litres now-a-days :)

yeah thats my idea, fill up wen i leave home, do a 100 miles in here and there should be plenty to get me round the track for 30 mins :D

Oh - that reminds me, I need to do that. Not for weight saving or lowering the centre of gravity, but the exhaust sounds loads louder then - get through that helmet :)

I think I'll take police drivers advice and put my rear seats down to make it weigh less. Or does it only work on 1.2 corsa? LOL
