Renault have clearly been listening to us, it would seam they are phasing out the lux model with this, everything you all wanted.

i feel guilty, the ammount of times i posted about white renaultsports on renaultsport.co.uk may have effected this :D


having said that i still wouldnt part with ultrablue, its a really funky colour and makes the car look smaller more compact. if i were to go for another RS id go for a 197 R27 in red, or a white R26.

however by the time my payemtents are up, 2009 i think ? there will be the soon to be released meganesport III lol with lsd,rear wheel steer, 300hp etc.. :D

just got the latest ordering guide through showing white as a new colour, but no mention of the leather.

you can try,it would depend how far down the line the order has got.

So does that mean that the tune point, bluetooth etc will be available in the R26? or is it just that white paint is the only extra for the R26?

yeah the tunepoint will be an option for all other R26's as the leather etc, what a **** time for you to order.

basically an iPod adapter that can also take USB memory sticks and a 3.5mm jack. AFAIK you could just get one fitted anyway...

My guess would be yes mate. Rear bench from the Lux, door cards from the lux, another order from Recaro..

Yes, but it can fit wherever you want, footwell pocket may be good to deter theiving gits

You don't need an ipod mate (only if you intend to use the ipod connector of course), its got a USB port for memory sticks, if you have one of those.
£175 though, is there any dodgy japanese stuff on ebay that would fit it? i wonder what the connector that is required from the back of the head unit. I might be able to make something....

If there is anyone out there willing to investigate the head unit connector and/or the tune box (if you've got one) It might be possible just to connect a USB extension direct from the head unit and leave that in the glove box. You can then use USB pens as play back.
All theoretical of course, but USB is a piece of pi$$ to wire up.
