getting a new hire car, a honda for 2 weeks, and i asked the manager about a sports cat and they are going to look into it as i said there was loads of interest!

i get to choose the tailpipes aswell! hmmm decisions, decisions!

He basically said on monday they will decide whether they will put on a cat back or turbo back system. I said there is loads of interest in a sports cat, he said they might do a 100 cell one then as the 80 cell tends to bring up engine faults, mind you mine does anyway!

it wont be lower matey, iv taken of the rubber mounts at the tops of the springs, sits 10mm lower all round now :D

I have to take it to Derbyshire, so about 3-4hrs, but need to be there b4 ten so i'm leaving at 4-5am so i dont miss them.

yes would look good, when at magnex get them to do a trial fit of all the pipes then you can decide what you want maybe two twins :D be different phil :wink:

i like the idea of a std zorst tbh

my last experience of a custom zorst was for my Civic type-r..... had a totally bespoke stainless-steel Powerflo cat-back system, built to the car (watched whilst they made it)

sounded lurrrvly. deep, bassy and with a pop and burble thrown in.


drove it the 100 miles home and at both 70 and 40 mph it resonated with the car...made my whole body shake. Felt sick the whole time.

It lasted 99 miles....stopped at quick fit and the old 1 went back on!!!!!!

so a nice proven, std system sounds like a plan !

tbh a new back-box and outlet-pipes would be enuf for me. Std at up to 4k then a bit beefier. I would just want the popping/burbling sound a la rally car tbh.

Well it maybe off the shelf in a few years time, but they are custom designing it over two weeks and i have the option of what pipes i want
etc

Lets be honest its not gonna be a crap Peco jobby, or as good as an H&R system(not that i've seen one)
but its free and i'll put the old one back on if its pants! :D
