I went for my first test drive in the R26 last week at my local dealers.

The car was an Ultra Blue with no decals. Anyway, after the test drive I went through some figures with the dealer and I ended up walking out laughing.

Yesterday I goy a call from them again offering me a "Special one off deal" for the car. They are now selling it for £15995 which sounds like a good deal to me. Best deal I have had to be honest.

My problem is now, I really wanted one in Ultra Red but now I have the chance to get one this week instead of the long wait. What do I do?? I like the colour but I dont know. The car was a total mess when I drove it. It had just been delivered.

Also, have currently got my work looking for one through the fleet dealer but have not heard anything yet.

Think I will wait till Wed and make the dealer sweat a bit :sweatdrop:, maybe then get a good deal for an Ultra Red one?

I think you'll live to regret it, I can see where you are coming from and have been there a couple of times myself, but once you have the blue one and have had it a while, you'll be wishing you'd gone for Red, the colour you really wanted.

if you buy the blue... you'll spend half your time looking at it wishing it was red. price is tempting though

yes hang on for the red mate, i know the waiting is hard, i should know i ordered my ly R27 in april and now i aint getting it till 5th september thats hard so many stupid excuses they gave me but know it will be worth the wait in the end

I can say honestly it's worth the wait, was it AC in Warrington, if so you want to speak to Duncan, the Area sales manager, he's the one with the final say.

Added bonus if you can wiat another 6 weeks is you'll get a 57 plate rather than an 07. Probably find it's worth about £300 extra when it comes to selling the car
