Mint have you heard of DIESEL TUNING UK LTD 08452572308 diesel-performance.co.uk.I have a astra diesel 1.9 16v 150 with one of there boxes fitted it is a plug and play so can be removed for warranty work if need be.I would deffo recomend it to any diesel owner my car now runs at about 200 bhp I have heard that the 120bhp increases to about 170bhp from the box and if you post 25 posts on astraownersnetwork.co.uk you will get a massive dicount from the site (the punto engine is the same as the astras)

hiya matey, thanks for the head up! :D it sounds similar to the tunit boxes... i plan on having it remapped, but if these are a good price then i might be tempted for the reason you said, if i need to take it to the dealers for anything then there is no doubt they will be able to find anything, although it will probably be logged on the ecu, i could just deny it! lol... where as a map, which is relatively un-noticeable, knowing my luck it would get wiped off! lol.

yeah the vx engine iirc is supplied by fiat, but the one in the GP is only the 8v not the 16v which is seen in vx's and bigger models in the fiat range.

The later 120 bhp astras are the 8v mate By the way the price is about £270 for that you get a box that has four different settings. I dont think they register on the ECU

thanks matey :D they do a 1.9 8v 120bhp version in the eleganza, the sporting is 130 standard... tbh, it seems pretty decent as it is, but the map/box offers too much of a good thing not to have it done! lol. :D
