The clutch on all renaultsports run very hot. If your are slipping the clutch in any way it smells like rotten eggs!

Me and Jamie in my car were chasing Andy and mike back form the pub yesterday and i had mine going sideways round a corner (almost lost the back end) and i smelt the clutch then.

just face it the full fat cant keep up with a cup, :lol:

I think the traction control slips the clutch to take power away from the wheels, if so you will get that smell.

Can't be to good for the clutch though surely :?

I've found the clutch on the Megane is extremely sensitive even when driving it slowly and biting the clutch. Not surprised if you could smell it after driving the car hard!! :?

I'm sure on the old forum that someone said the flywheel on the 225 is extremely heavy which is why you get a bad smell from a mental F1 stylee standing start............................................. ......I think :?
