I've already put the family on Tesco Basics to try and stretch to a GT dCi 150, but I've not had much luck on 'definite' re-map figures "20 or 30bhp mate"


A dCi 130 re-maps easily to the same as a standard dCi 150, so I'm not gonna cancel the Sky & put the Mrs out to work on a Friday night for a 150 unless someone can confirm a 180+ re-map

Best asking paul he quoted m a 30 bhp gain and 40 lbft torque gain but that was for the petrol GT.

Welcome to my usual site mate, hope you manage to get one, your little clio does sound very intersting.

^ ^ that's the problem - it so bloody good now it's run in and re-mapped

I've already rejected an Ibiza FR PD 130 and Civic CDTi on the way to finding a replacement!

The Ibiza felt agricultural and cheap 5/10, the Civic 7/10, but very very pricey with low spec & crap visibility (I'd have need a GT @ 18K+ to get the spec. on a 2003 dynamique!)

a GT (test drive 9/10) for peanuts with 190bhp and 300lb.ft is THE option

i do like the look of the GT, it makes more sense than the 175 DCI

For the map if the car has NOT got a diesel particle filter i would expect 40hp and 50lbft, if it has the filter then safely 25hp and same torque.
