peacher 13-03-2006, 21:14:12 Hi,
I am new to this website and was thinking of buying a Megane 225 in a couple of months time. After searching the internet I found the buymynewcar.co.uk website that was selling 225's at a very reasonable price.
Has anyone here bought their car from them or know if they are any good?
Cheers,
Peter

I would not say that we are associated - but just a forum user - with buymynewcar giving members / users special offers .
We are a small family run business based in West Yorkshire earning a crust
aye no complaints from me. good communication and seem to be on top of things :)
Bought my 225 from them last year and have no complaints.
If your worried its not a UK car, don't be they are. Had no problem when I took it into local Renault dealer, they are non the wiser that you haven't bought from a Renault dealer!
They are really friendly so just ask them about any quires you have, defiantly recommend.
zx10r 14-03-2006, 21:09:09 I though they were UK cars supplied from a Renault Dealer through their fleet department...no?
cactusbob 15-03-2006, 00:54:47 That's it I believe
They are but because renault are not suposed to re-sell them on untill they are 3mts old you get no V5 (unless you order a second copy from DVLA).
You become the 2nd registered keeper, but have the car from new with delivery miles.
uncle 15-03-2006, 13:54:17 I was told by buymynewar that they will order and pay for the new V5 Doc.
cactusbob 15-03-2006, 14:06:44 So when do you get the V5, after 3 months?

zx10r 17-03-2006, 01:01:20 So...what comes out on the reg doc first time round? Is it your name c/o some fleet management company?

Thanks Mate
Haven't driven a 225 yet unfortunately but am hoping one of my friendly Renault dealers will give me a shot soon! Got a Clio172 at the moment but expect the Megane will be a different drive.
BlackRat250 20-03-2006, 08:11:02 It wil be mate. The megane is pukka. Try and get one for a proper test drive. Gurantee you'll get one !!
Focus st3 13-06-2006, 21:41:22 i had a bad experience with them when it came to buying my car, i also know of others (on another forum) that have had an issue with them on delivery of a specific vehicle, specifically them being rude with me, and keeping half of my deposit for a car they could not supply me with (i will have waited 8 months and no date)
anyone can feel free to pm me and i can show them the rude emails i had, and point them in the direction of a forum were all the buyers were treated very poorly
cactusbob 13-06-2006, 22:16:20 Don't know about your rude emails, but I heard that the Main Ford dealers were giving preference to their own retail customers over the brokers. Makes sense, cos I'm sure they make more money that way. Brokers go to the back of the queue I reckon when there is high demand for a car like the ST.
And as for keeping half your "non-refundable" deposit I think that's fair enough

If you would like to PM me the 'rude' emails, i will look into them as we do not condone any customer, no matter what the situation, being poorly dealt with.
shinyautos.com 13-06-2006, 23:01:32 I've just got my car from buymynewcar, and have had a super experience the whole way through from start to finish...
Not sure who your saying the rude emails came from but i would be very surprised if not sounds like bull, if you are talking about bmnc that is...
littleone 14-06-2006, 00:43:19 yes they are very nice n also send me the email of the car if l 'm not p/x my 182 to 225 with dealer l will buy from them nice people :D

it was lisa your wife , your better off asking her
Alonso225 14-06-2006, 10:27:58 Ive hear nothing but excellent references from Buymynewcar and the contact ive had with them (Adrian & Lisa) has always been curteous and polite. I wouldnt even consider buying a Meggy from a Stealer (my wife already did once!). If our second car ends up being a 225 too, we (wife and I) wouldnt have second thoughts about who to buy it from (BMNC!).
Keep up the excellent service!
meggerman 14-06-2006, 11:18:09 ahh the wife, i had some respray done last year it was done by a guy who runs his own business and his home work number was simular i got a right earfull from her for chasing up but later on got an appology, dont let women into your family business they take things like chasing up or constructive critisism so personally because they love the person the "customer/stranger" is get aggro about accident waiting to happen and the reputation is in taters.
shinyautos.com 14-06-2006, 11:18:22 My mates been waiting for an ST for months and months mate, he got stroppy too...
Thats with a main ford dealer so i think its just a waiting game....
meggerman 14-06-2006, 11:21:04 btw excuse my ignorance on this in lames terms when you buy a car from say BMNC.co.uk are you not the only keeper ? whats with the V5 taking 3months to arrive etc.. i dont understand sounds a bit odd
littleone 14-06-2006, 13:56:49 is it mean u r the second owner :?
meggerman 14-06-2006, 14:24:22 is it mean u r the second owner :?
yea thats what i thought ? does this effect resale value in terms of perception from buyers point of view i.e buyer of your car will be third owner instead of 2nd hand.
also are the cars classed as imports (i know techincally they all are)
shinyautos.com 14-06-2006, 15:58:23 Cars are Uk supplied not for one moment an imported vehicle...
Not saying where my car came from but in the UK for sure!!!!
griffo 22-11-2006, 17:20:16 Hi would just like to say ai got my car from bmnc.com and all went well thanx
Thomas 22-11-2006, 20:41:08 LOL I was well confused until I read the last post in this thread :D
