Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem. After finishing a late shift at work I jumped into my Meggy, turned it on and then watched the dials and displays go crazy. Nothing electrical worked on it although the car itself seemed to be fine.

Called out the old AA, after 2 hours they came along and lo and behold the car worked fine.

Have spoken to RUK and they say that they've never heard of it doing that before.

I've ended up dropping it off at the dealers today to get it sorted out and for them to have a look at the clutch as it's started to stick when pulling away.

Not bad for a car that's only done 1700 miles. I want my 172 Cup back...

Did it go into mode test when you started it? This happens when you push the button on the end of the wiper and start. The dials go up to the max and back down etc.

thats nothing to worry about, it's a self test system there's a video of it on here somewhere, it's when the whole dash lights up like an xmas tree and the dials go crazy, you can trigger it yourself by pressing a series of buttons

Sounds like test mode. Seems really stupid, have you made 100% sure its not your mat thats causing the clutch to stick?

Electronics - RUK have said that although it sounds like the test, it shouldn't have started by me simply getting into the car, putting the key card in and pushing the engine start button.

Clutch - I've tried it with and without mats. Didn't solve the problem
