Hi,

Does anyone know what view insurance companies take re: the low speed parade lap? Obviously, insurance companies specifically exclude track days, but does the low speed parade lap just count as normal driving? Knowing my luck, something will happen whilst on the parade lap and I can just imagine the conversation with my insurance company afterwards: "Where did the incident occur?". My reply: "On the race track at Donnington!!"

I doubt very much your insurance will cover you on track for the parade.

Not covered 99% of the time. Check the policy!

As above, they'll charge you quite a bit for it as well.

Last year it was fairly civilised and very hard to crash, although someone did spin a V6!!

Hope ppl don't try to back up the pack this time, it was a bit silly..
