a sabove - just ask your old insurance company for a letter stating how many years ncd you have and forward it to your new one.
you don't have to wait until this letter arrives to change - you just declare how many years you have to your new ins. who work out the premium based on your info - you can then forward the letter when you get it........:yes[1]:

NCB is akin to a relay race.

Your existing/old Insurer will provide you with either a proof of NCB document or a renewal notice that shows the level of your existing NCB.

This is then passed onto your new Insurer (in this case Us).

We then update the NCB as you go and all being well will add an additional year to this at the end of the year.

Hopefully we will be able to assist you from renewal onward, but in the event that we are unable to do so our Underwriters will issue a proof of NCB to you and the whole cycle above starts again.

Kind regards

Tony

Ps. Apologies for the belated reply, I have been upon annual leave over the last few weeks and this is the first opportunity ive had to respond.
