the services are only oil and filter changes so it aint so bad, the petrol consumption isnt much worse than what i got in the meggy on the 300 so its nout i cant handle, gonna go fvor a ssq valve, exaust, cai, and a re map, then al leave it at that am thinkin like, hopefully shud see some where in the region on 350 maybe more?

I'd never have one as not my style, but I always enjoy them and much preferred over an Impreza. Well tbh I prefer anything over one of them.

A client of mine has recently got a VIII, in white. The FQ<lots> with carbon, etc. It's been at a tuners for the best part of 2 months - still not finished with the tweaking. I'll nag him for some pics!

noooooo you should have got a VX m8 seriously. Nice enough motor like but not really that much different to the megane IMO. The VX would have been a real treat!

I much prefer the 7> to the early rally slag looks. I was looking to swap for an evoX in a couple of years but after being raped of £270 to servive a colt mitsubishi can kiss my megs ass!

Enjoy it while you can affort it mate!

dave1971, just had a look at the photos of your evo 8 and it looked superb mate, how was the everyday driving of it and what was the costs of running it like, i can imagine it to be very high.

well, after a few days of ownership, heres my thorts, only got 1 compliant, which is the brakes, they work fine, better than the meggys, but, i was told they were sorted as they squeeled, this problem has not been sorted, so thats gonna be goin in to get sorted.

had the car up on the 4 poster today, and the underside is immaculate like, very clean, all ball joints have litle play in them and all seems to be fine, de cating these things is a bit easyer as it litterally a foot of 3inch pipe with 2 flanges on, so am gonna get that sorted soon like, cant be much for that!

also has any 1 seen the stock dampers on these, the silver bit what goes into the damper housing thing, must be an inch thick, maybe inch and half, bloody massive!
