My car has covered 16,400 miles and so far I have not had to top up the engine oil. The car is a 2004 54 plate so it's on 18,000 mile service intervals. Is this similar to other owner's or are some drinking the stuff :?:

I think modern Renaults are designed to drink a bit, keeps the service intervals nice and high. My old shape Megane does about a litre every 10k, but the Clio (same engine) hasn't used any at all in 10K. I suppose it depends on the age of the engine, and how you drive it really.

Not entirely sure if this applies to the 225. I'd check the dipstick though rather than rely on the electronic reading.

Sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesnt? Think it depends on if im parked on a hill?

Didn't need any before my 18000 mile service, and it had just dropped 1 bar on the oil level indicator when i took it in.

10k not used a drop. V black though.
