Apparantly for the most polluting cars road tax will go up to £210. Don't know what the governments definition of 'most polluting' cars is. I hope we don't fall into that category.

well, not until september then it goes up 1p so you can guarentee that the fuel suppliers will add a couple of pence on to it!!!!!!!

The tax threshholds are dependant on the Co2 output..
Another example is a Subaru impreza. Tax for that is now the maximum £210.. Due to the 265g/km output

It's ridiculous. My mate with a damn Smart Car who thrashes the crap out of it and gets 15mpg only has to pay £40 a year now.

Webcode, I read in a government book the 225 emissons where 184, which just falls into the tax braket of £150 per year,please clarify. Thanks Phill
