hi guys as promised when i got the news

Then during early April, before we open the lines to the general public, we will call you to complete your Sky HD order and arrange your installation. Sky HD pre-order is being offered on a first come, first served basis. Installations are scheduled to start from May.

:lol: agree totally its not as if they have many channels to offer and then ask for £300 plus 10 per month plus what about 10 channels.
Should have been £150.00 for the box and 0.00 to 5.00 per month till they have a decent channel line up IMO :wink:

Don't mind the box price but the extra tenner is ridiculous. We don't get the movies or sport channels (cos we never watched 'em), so that leaves Sky 1, Nat Geo and Artsworld I believe. Just not worth it, I only watch Bones on Sky One nothing else.

I'd be interested to know if you still need to pay the tenner to get the BBC when that goes HD.

sod that, £10 a month more,
i already pay £47 a month for sky plus, ill b fooked if im paying another £10 to watch 5-10 channels that iv alredy got, i would rather pay the £10 and get multi room, at least im getting my moneys worth,

anyway thank you mat for getting that info.

i'm sure given a bit of time after the launch they will drop the prices, unless it really takes off that is, cause even i think it's a bit steep considering the limited channels at the mo!! but time will tell
