Is it me or is this car quite common allready for a ''supercar''. In the last month i must have seen at leat 10 of then and in supercar tearms thats a lot. I know its not as common as a fiesta,focus,clio ect but i was expecting to see 1 every 6 months if that,

Im not complaining that ive seen loads but just would of thought there would be more exclusivity with the R8 than there is at the moment. I dont blame anyone who has one tho it is one awsome looking car and hadles amazing ect.

I see a fair amount of 911s, and essentially that's it's market.

Seen 2 on the road and one on a lorry.

Just going to say the same as sheen its not a full on Ferrari style supercar its more a fast 2 seater, i must see one a week you cant really miss the day light running lights.

I think youve hit the nail on the head there. Its a "supercar" but so are 911s but they are mass produced supercars. Really Audi and Porsche are the only manufacturers who shift 100k cars in that sort of volume. Aston Martin are getting there though. I see loads of DB9s round these parts.

Saw one today in black. God they are awsome in the metal. They remind me a bit of the stance of the VX (obviously one on steroids) I'm a definite fan. Wuld still rather have GT3RS Though

makes no diff on the wait there is a few on trader, there is 6 in my area alone, round here you see more R8s than you do R26 and 225s that says it all for me. Plus its Audi and there booring and plain has f*uck.

I'm sure like BMW with the new M3, Audi can shift as many as they can roll off the line and fair play to them for doing so.

I see loads of R8s every day, I think its a rule that when you buy one, you have to drive up and down Oxford Street all the time in Central London

some one round the corner from my mam has a black one, looks the bizz, walked passed it a few times taking the dogs out, dribbled all over it both times

I saw my first one in the flesh on Monday morning. Was sat behind it in traffic on the way to work. I was really disappointed with it, i just kept thinking that it looked too long and the wheels were too small and it looked very plastic.

After seeing one now I don't see what all the fuss is.

From the instant that I saw Kerry Catona getting out of one I hated them. Gone from quite a smart car to a chav carrier in the matter of seconds!

Must have a bit boot though to carry all of them frozen suasage rolls that she consumes
