I had a run in with one of these today on the way to work . He came speeding up behind me and was basically sitting on my bumper. So we ended up approaching an Express way and i decided to see what it was like. When i put my foot down i pulled a few car lenghts on him and then it just stayed the same distance between us. The expressway wasnt that long so we then came to a round about and he went the other way. I only saw what it was when he turned off i didnt think it would be a 328, before you say thats a crapy old car if you look at the specs its alot different to mine 193bhp and 0-60 in 6.4 150 top end. So i was quite suprised that my standard GT pulled on it.

Cant wait till its remaped and then ill leave him standing.

I had a blast with a convertible one of these in my old Clio 172 and to be honest, off the line it was pretty much even.

Though that was quite early on of me owning it so I reckon I could have pulled a lead earlier if I drove it now.

But I had him in the end as we both slowed down to 40 for a speed camera, I dropped it to 2nd gear, he must have gone for 3rd coz as soon as we were clear, I was off haha.

Either way, they are pretty nippy motors, nice one for holding him off in the GT too. :D

Dont know was trying to find the spec for both cars but could only find 0-60 times,some magazines do this timing and use 3rd gear or 4th gear times, they use this so people can see how well it can overtake slower cars

I knew that about 30-70 times but thats the reason i put up the info about 0-60 as there is nothing regarding 0-100, 30-70. ect times on the GT. Its useless trying to find out info about it so i would like to time it myself just need to find somewhere that will do it.

Used to own a 328i there heavy and not as fast as you'd hope,not at all surprised u stayed with him

Get it tuned and you'll have a monster... my GT will spin in 3rd if you're really brutal!
