Hi

First post and its a problem :shiny[1]:

I picked my 03 plate Megane up on Wednesday and yesterday when I went to use the rear demister button it didnt work. The LED next to it didnt come on. I tried the AC button and that didnt come on.

Anyone have an idea what it could be. If its a fuse where is the fuse located as the ones in the glove box dont seem to tie up with the AC or Rear Screen demister.

Also when you accelerate hard isnt the traction control light supposed to light up on the instrument panel as this isnt showing up either.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mike

There are fuses in the engine bay too. As for the traction control light it will only light up if you actually lose traction

I found the fuses in the engine bay and managed to take the fuse out but it looks fine. No broken connections. I may just take it back to the garage and get them to look at it. Unless there is anything else anyone knows

Check all the fuses. What model you got?

1.9DCi Dynamique 120

Its hard to get to the as they are half covered by a plastic cover. Unless there is a way to get to them.

Take the cover off? As for your traction control are you sure its fitted to your model? Have you got the little switch next to the headlamp level switch?

That may be it. There isnt a switch there. That clears that one up :shiny[1]:

I took the cover off the battery to get to the clip to take the fuse cover off but the is still another cover underneath. It doesnt seem to want to move.

You may have to undo the battery a bit to shove it over to the left to make a bit more room
