right my mind was set up to get the milltek exhaust, but i have heard some bad reports about with regards build quality, it blows alot, melting of diffuser, but have heard some people love the milltek zorst.

so its either the milltek exhaust or the ktec exhaust?

which one?

How many reports of the milltek melting the diffuser is there?

I prefer slash cut of the k-tec myself.

Suprised people have had problems with the Milltek, they're usually top quality. You sure it's not an issue with how it's been fitted? Hence blowing and slightly out of alignment with melting of the diffuser?

I'd go Milltek personally as l've had nothing but good experiences with them. They also do a lovely sports cat for it :)

Ring R-Sport and order the race spec Clio Cup exhaust.

Oh and ours melts its rear diffuser on a pretty regular basis..... but that's mostly from rumbling the kerbs which causes the exhaust to bounce about a bit!

well just been on the phone to david at ktec to get car booked in, asked about both exhausts, when asked about the milltek said it was not very flexible hence why it bounces and can cause diff to melt, and said it has to be fitted correctly, and if i wanted that one to keep an eye on it, he said the ktec zorst is a bit more flexible, basically i going down there look at both zorsts and decide then, said both have similiar sounds so guess it will be wait and see.
i did have there ktec zorst on my 225 and that sounded very nice, so am swaying back to ktecs lol with slash cut of course

Not keen on the KTec one at all mate, in fact i've not managed to hear the video all the way through, it gets too much and i have to switch it off. :wtf:

Of the two i prefer the Miltek one but i'd check out what Yozzasport has to offer before making any final decisions.

Although if i'm totally honest quite why you want to mess with the exhaust is beyond me, the noise it makes is one of my favourite bits about the whole car!!:)

i still in two minds, milltek is a great make but so many people on ren sport forum hate it, say poor build quality, bad design, sticky out pipes, say it melt the diffuser but other people love it, i do like the milltek but i want an exhaust with good build quality, good sound, and not worry about my diffuser getting melted.

as said in another post the ktec exhaust is made by magnex, and have a more flexible middle part that helps absorb the bumps etc but milltek just has no moveability hence why it hits the diff, and like said above it has to be fitted 100% correct and is very fidely to fit.

so i just go down and listen to davids ktec zorst if i like will get if not then will have the milltek.

my head is spinning like mad at moment im going from milltek no ktec no milltek no..... lol

i do love the sound of milltek, and do know a few people who have this zorst and have had no problems at all, i do suppose if i do have a problem i can go back and get it sorted as have a lifetime warranty on it

decisions decision

keep voting people, i will go with the one that wins
