Just to add to the starting problems that i am having with my car, now when i start it i get a rattling noise coming from underneath the driver side, this last for a few seconds whilst the car is deciding wether it is going to start or not, once it is running seems to be ok. Anybody got any ideas?
Guess i am going to have to add it to the list when it goes into Renault on Friday.

Does the noise only happen when you start moving or immediately when engine starts? & is it louder in the car our outside

Could be loose exhaust mount

Seems to only happen when starting, once the car is moving it seems ok, i have had the window open when moving and don't seem to hear it. It is louder outside the car .
Doesn't sound too expensive????
