after last week when i came home from work when i put my window down and it wouldnt go back up, i finally got it back up and it went back to normal for a few days, but here i am again still having problems, every now and the it wont go down/up then after a few clicks on the switch and bangs on the door it starts to work again, no idea y this is happening, even when i press the switch and the window doesnt move i can hear the motor still trying to work so cant c it being an electrical problem or motor, any suggestions

sounds like the window could have come out of it's guides or that there is a problem with the window regulator, if the reg. needs replacing they are around £170 - 200 !!!
