Another newbie here who's finally succumbed to the temptations of the 225 (after finally being forced by expanding family to get something with back seats :lol: )

I have a full fat 225 in black gold with cup pack & xenons on order form those lovely people at buymynewcar.co.uk (Hi Lisa :) )

So the waiting starts now... 6 to 8 weeks and counting....

Jas - not sold the VXT yet, was supposed to be on the market now, but been a bit busy at work recently so not had the chance, (and no I'm not putting it off, honest :P )

Yes - definately will be sad to see the VX go - but it's been a great car for the two years I've had it, and now my motoring needs have changed somewhat. Hopefully, it won't be too long a separation though - have every inention of buying another in two or three years time :twisted:

Really can't compare the VXT to the 225 - and I don't mean that in a bad way to either car. They're just totally different beasts. The VX is exceptionally focused (for want of a better word). It's a 110% experience, 110% of the time. Mostly this is good - but can get wearing at times. I would nver consider the VX as a ture daily driver - though I have used it as such, and I have freinds who still do. People make the mistake of seeing the Vaux badge on the VX and thinking it's an ordinary car. It's not! Whilst it's almost certainly easier to live with than an elise, in many ways it's even more extreme (if that makes sense??)

Why are you considering the move? Swap from the 225 or additional car? If you want any help/info when it comes to buying time I'll be happy to help.
