Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm keeping £350 aside for the RS Tuning ECU treatment - I presume everyone who's had this done is pleased with it - no problems or glitches?

Don'thtink you can have it yet, with it being the euro 4 engine. Although think Rs Tuning is working on that

ha, thats a problem. mine lasted 8 months - 9000 miles

Front tyres last as long as the rears, so you gotta do all 4 at the same time. Does the cup come with tyre pressure sensors?

I used to get about 6k out of a set of fronts on my 172, so I was fearing the worst I must admit. Good fun wearing them out though :D

195/45/16 if I remember correctly. That's the one redeeming feature about the V6 - it doesn't eat tyres.

Dave thing to remember........we were on conti's for our first sets. The meggy's with the cup packs have teh Dunlops on them. I need to choose between another set of eagle f1's or the dunlops when i change mine next time.

Alex that is true. Although im running toyos now. So will wait and see how long these last.

Toyos are a very similar pattern to the goodyears.....ive heard thought hat toyos are a little softer hence i went for the good years. Ive had a good 12000 miles out of these so far (11 months) with plenty of meat on them still.

Mike if your car will be here in three weeks you could have pride of place on the site at the fcs

Ordered this morning from W A Lewis Renault in Telford. Standard delivery is 6-8 week, but the guy semmed pretty confident he could get it in 3 or 4. Would be very nice to get it in time for FCS!!

Fingers crossed for you matey! Don't be too dis - heartened if it doesn't turn up in 3-4 weeks, but if it does mate thumbs up to them!!
