My clutch got stuck half way and I had my foot on the accelarator and I smelt a real bad burning smell it only happened once but not sure if there is any damage to the clutch plate. Also there is a slight knocking on the front near side but only when I go over a bump the technition seems to think somethink has come loos and it dont sound that seriouse Ant Eg 06-05-2006, 00:53:38 My clutch got stuck half way and I had my foot on the accelarator and I smelt a real bad burning smell it only happened once but not sure if there is any damage to the clutch plate. My 225 only 4 months old & clutch has jammed twice. Very slight but enough to stop the cruise control engaging. Sorted in 5 mins by Renault Basildon, clutch return spring pops out of place. They cannot find out why & should be replacing whole part when I put the car in for servicing (in about 6000 miles). Let me know if your is the same fault | |
