is better economy because of the remap/tuning box ?
Jimbo 04-05-2006, 19:48:14 indeed, i could only ever manage 53-54 at best before the remap.
dickie 04-05-2006, 23:49:10 i had 57.3 on the way back from sheffield!
Dammit! I thought I was on a winner! :D
I get about 46-50 around town, bloody round abouts, teasing me to speed up, and then start again!
I dunno what I was getting before I put my tuning box on, went on more or less as soon as I got the car.

Ah well. At least I had 3 years of this already.
I may still get good MPG if I go for a 2.0 dci 175 RS or 2.0dci 150 CC.
Rocket 07-05-2006, 15:59:23 I'm lucky to get above 44mpg, and thats on a good run! How the hell can anyone get over 50mpg?? I really struggle to get any higher? What am I doing wrong??
dickie 07-05-2006, 17:18:32 Do you have a rather large right foot?
Which engine have you got?
Rocket 16-05-2006, 09:08:22 I've got a 1.9dci and I do tend to travel between 90-100mph on my way to work, but even if I do go at 70mph I struggle to get over 50mpg!
dickie 16-05-2006, 10:28:47 I get best MPG travelling between 60-70mph
I take it your workplace is at the end of a very long private road?!

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/JamesScudder/Image054.jpg
