due to unforseen circumstances i'm going to have to sell my 6 month old '08 plate dCi GT megane. ive got 3,400 miles on the clock and looking at autotrader it seems it would could be listed, (if it was a dealer sale) at 13k upwards. Now when i look at value calculators they seem to say its trade value is only something like £8,600. Does the GT half in value after 6months or are these calulator things all wrong????

I've got mineral blue paint and th ecabasse 40w multi cd upgrade.

I'm going to lose money on this but sadly i need to get rid.

The very best thing to do is to look at as many as you can find in similar spec - autotrader, pistonheads etc. Then, how desperate are you to sell. If you need a quick sale, you obviously need a lower price.

Your best bet is to ring a dealer and/or a specialist independant and ask them what they'd give you for it. Add £500 on to that and it'll sell. Add £1000 on to that and it should still sell, but take a bit longer.

And private buyer if you can, usually the best way to get the best price
