Looking for abit of advise. My Megane has an annoying rattle coming from the sunroof at speed. If i gently apply pressure to the glass it goes away. Is a new seal needed or something??

Snap, I have to open the sunroof to the first setting then shut it again for it to go away.

I get this but only while stationary and the engine is at idle

apart from being a diesel :D hehe just kidding....

try wiping a bit off silicon grease on the edge of the seal. because if you have a clean sheet of glass on a clean bit off rubber, it will easially stick and squeak under vibration. especially at idle where your more likely to get a bit of juddering from the engine. just an idea guys.

I think its the air diffuser thingy which pops up when the roof is open that is rattling against the glass or something?

I've had this problem since 2006 and its been back to Renault for it, they do some quick lil fix and it comes back, apparently somebody did find a fix for this a few years back but nobody can get hold of that person now and I can't remember his name sorry, you learn to live with it :(

yea theres lots of things the arms wear at the back there is foam pads to fit new seals and glass in some cases, its trail and error
