What have you guys done/ planning on doing to your 175's then????

Ive lowered mine put sun glasses on and sounds. Hopefully re mapping it soon and getting new wheels at some point.

only got tints and a new head unit for mine atm,

going to re-map it, fit a larger fmic and the r26.r spoiler soon :)

Get the back box taken out and some new pipes. ITG, remap.

I want to get it lowered and the r26.r spoiler also.

how much would it cost to get the R26.Rspoiler and fitted and painted?

The spoiler is around £130 from renault, then £150 for a body shop to fit and paint.

Dont no why they never put the spoiler on at the factory!!!!

I changed the springs on to eibachs so it was lowered 30mm. It was a complete pain in the arse to do, or at least it was for my mate who did it lol!

Whats ITG and why u taking out the back box DannagE?, is it to make it sound better??

Backbox is already out and custom exhaust. Sounds the nuts!
The ITG is a filter, but I wouldn't expect much gains from it.

i really really really want the spoiler but does the roof not need resprayed after you take the original spoiler off??

ClaneO, dCi 175 doesn't have a spoiler lip like the r26 so theres nothing to fill or plug ;) Its just spray and stick :D

eibachs next on list for me, though id prefer to muck around with the Turbo and see if can up the power a bit more and of course torque.

Curious as to how this 240bhp figure can be met, I think even at 216(what mine was rr'd at) that there is room for more.

Gearbox is pisch as well. Was speaking to a guy about quaife short shifter he has in an RS turbo (escort) makes such a difference than the slow and not wanting to be rushed chocolate box that is in the meg.

Of course the above is serious bucks and may not be possible. ARSE.

No idea about the backbox. I wouldn't of thought it would make a difference as the backbox is just a noise surppressor as I'm aware. And thats not going to be on the MOT tbh. Or make mates with the guy who owns the MOT place :D

removed backbox will make it breathe a bit better so might make a small small neglible difference imo. Not that noteworthy though ie big bhp gains etc

yes 30mm on H&R's,to be honest the standard cup springs were better but the ride height was just too high.

Can anyone tell me what the r26.r spoiler looks like?? is that the curved one with the gap in it above the roof??

My first megane came with the ordinary spoiler on it with the third brake light, but when i bought my current car new, i ordered a spoiler which turned out to be the same as the r26.r one, and i dont seem to see any other meganes about my area with a similar one....jus the usual spoiler!

Yeah thats the spoiler I have, had it on my car since i got it in Jan 08...must admitt it gets sum looks from other megane owners!!:yes:
