have you bought a full fat or the cup version???

cause if it's the cup you can switch it off, the switch is to the right of the steering wheel next to the cruise/limiter control switch.

the main problem on the 225 is the ASR I rekon, the rear wheel braking is what causes some of the weird steering feel at times. Had my car in at RS tuning the other week and we found you can actually disable the ASR completely on the renault CLIP so thats what I did! The traction control is on all the time as thats lumped in with the ABS which obviously you dont wanna turn off. But with the ASR its much better, as long as your confident controlling understeer which obviously you get with 225 bhp over the front wheels its a lot better, traction control still kicks in on corners but I found that the ASR used to cut power coming out of corners, just when you want to give it a bit of gas but without the ASR theres just a bit of a flicker of trction control, bit of a slide and your off its great. Hopefully a full switchable ASR/Traction on/off should be available at some point though

All they have done on the cup is set the asr to come in automatically at like 150 mph as opposed to 30 mph.

Its just a setting thats ajusted on CLIP.
