wipers wont seem to work, first the slow n medium sweep stopped so had to use the fast sweep but got stuck in middle of windscreen so cant move it.
Please help as its forcast rain for rest of week and i need the car for work!!

could be a couple of things - more than likely the motor or possibly if you still can hear a whirring noise the linkage could have popped off the motor and last but not least a faulty switch/stalk.

i read the manual in glovebox and something along the lines of the wiper motor disconnects power when too cold?

that was in the manual ??................who am I to argue with that , although never heard of that one - if it's snowing you need your wipers.....hmmmmm !

I've been using my car when its been -3 and -4 on the way to work and thats not affected my wipers...

il get a photo of it ( manual ) , im guessing the motors gone as i cant hear anything and the rears working fine.

I put mine on they went fully up and stopped... It was very cold.. Next day they worked it like a French Soilder does not work well in the cold
But i wish it was the only thing that was broken on mine.

will be wiper motor sunny.
mine did the same, first when i got the car and was on my way back to leeds from whitby in the snow, and second about 3 weeks ago
i ended up buying a new motor from renault for £130 as didnt want to risk the scrap yard again which lasted a year
easy to fit but the only problem now is that my wipers "park" in the middle of the screen!
stupid but at least they work!
