What's the best price i should be paying from a dealer for the face lifted 225.Will be a 5dr with cup option,Thinking of getting the new blue colour like the clio cup.And is true that orders aren't being taken till 1st Feb.Any help much appreciated. :wink:

not yet. the dealers have had nothing through. dad went on a course on friday to drive the new megane. not even the renault exects know when the prices are going to be released.

Renaultsport news letter says prices aren't going to ghange and it comes with full leather and climate as standard :shock:

the f1 special edition is 19500,i ordered one today for march 1st delivery
this is 3 door new flat blue colour and i believe black alloys,recaro front seats,light blue/black
so now i must sell my trophy no:194 will add it to the for sale section,it has 5000 miles on the clock and was reg in june 2005
it has had new injectors under warranty,and only one prob with it,yes the bloody dash rattle,but i think we all have that problem lol

lets put odds on weather it will turn up on the first :D

In truth i love the 225 to death but i think the F1 varient looks too boy racer.....certainly with those stickers on it.

The interior reminds me of the old fors focus RS where you could only get the blue interior.

Apart from the blue colour/blue recaro seats and stickers its just a 225 cup with black alloys.

Im not convinced myself but yeah......thats only my opinion. I do however like the look of the new face lifted 225 and might look to get one in maybe a year.....wanna keep my 225 for 2.5 - 3 years minimum.

might put a set of the new light custers onto mine when they become available.

your right its just another trophy, they said they would only do 500 trophys and there doing wat they done on the clios, bringing another ldt edition out. how ltd is renaults ltd editions

renault boffins spend ages designing cars and then marketing them,i dont really see what is boyracerish about the f1,have you had a look at some of the owners cars on here,carlos fandango super wide wheels,lexus rear lamps,500watt headlamps that see to the moon,500 quid on a extra large intercooler that noone can see,furry dice the lot,scaffold poles sticking out the back of the car where exhausts used to be,3 million watt music system,thats so you can here the music above the exhaust note,so come on all, no more circus truck shiny objects please,lets flood paul murray at rs tuning,have a cup of tea spend four hundred quid and a nice hour or two in leeds and then come home with an extra 42 bhp,but it will still be what the designers made,god the would pull there berries over there eyes if they saw some of the cars on here

I don't like the F1 much but i like A nice set of exhausts and a good sound system,

You started slagging off peoples cars. I didn't think that was quite fair on people who have spent all their hard earnt money on them.

So when people say they aren't too sure on the F1 i can't see why the slagging match starts about cars with added charecter ie, 'Scaffold Poles' and 'Lexus Lights'

well i must admit the trophy has been and still is a great car,but just like the blue and keeping up to date with new models,i hope the seats will be more comfatble as well or is that just my age lol
this looks like it will be a great site and i think with us all having input we will all get the best out of our cars and any minor hiccups on them can be cured
