Just cos i am bored. Sure some of you may have seen this on CS, or heard me talking about it at the last Midlands meet.
Me and my younger brother bought a set of 2nd hand ITBs for our track car and instead of paying to get them fitted we decided to have a go ourselves.
Main problem was that the Omex was wired into a PH2 loom and our car is a PH1, therefore not a straight swap due to some/most of the renault pins being different.
So we laid the looms out and labelled tham all up, basically we labelled and bleep tested ever sensor wire with a ID number and mayed them match up on both looms.
Niether of us had done anything like this before especially car electrics. After 2 very late nights gone 2AM and with some help from a local clio lad (Hutchie) we got the car running, it even started first time.
It runs a bit rough due to a poor map but thats getting sorted by Paul - RS tuning tomorrow hopefully.
Massive thanks to Matt (icarus) and Andy from GDI aswell.
