tbh, I'm not overly impressed with the shots so far. Prefer a blue focus rs, or if they put that 2.3 v5 from the tt rs in the golf mk6..

That said, surely the cup chassis will be available from the get-go, like they did with the Twingo.

Not bad - nice from the front and side but not so sure about the back.

That is going to be a bitch to reverse into a parking space with the lack of rear and over the shoulder vision.

Who is going to order one without the Cup & LSD option?

I wonder how much upside there is for remapping as its basically the same lump as the 225/R26?

It doesn't say anything about prices or release date - anyone know more?

i really like it, love the alloys. Think renault have been listening by the sounds of it, looks like the cup pack will be an option from day 1.

Clio 200 looks pretty good also.

I'm liking the Cup chassis coming with the LSD also.

Wish the rear bumper was in one piece, so it would look alot smoother.

Will have to wait and see next year for other version they bring and any revisions they make.

It needs colour-coding IMO, works well as it is on black ;)

yeah if they colour coded the front but left that little black strip above the no. plate (where the RS badge is) that would be good

I like it but can't help thinking that it looks a bit heavier on its wheels than the outgoing R26?

Looks quite Leon-ish aswell.

Spec looks good which makes the inevitable R28 model a fairly tempting prospect. Anyone know the weight of it? I'm wondering if they've wasted all the extra power by making it heavy?! ;)

Suppose to be lighter than the 225/R26 isn't it?

If so with the LSD on the Cup chassis and 250hp standard and lighter, it'll be a weapon.

Just hope something has been improved within the engine for re-map potential.

Well the Meg coupe Dci is 1320kg approx where as the outgoing base model Dci is 1310kg approx so l can't imagine the new or outgoing RS versions being significantly different weight wise.

Even if it will map to 300bhp, you are still not going to be able to put all of it down until 3rd gear!
