Jumping the gun a bit there I think. They've said they wont enter if the two-tier 40m cap goes ahead. Toyota and Redbull have also said the same already.

I still think that they will change the rules again although Mr Mosley says F1 can live without Ferrari, i think would be a better place without him TBH. all that will happen is that the Teams would crate a break away league.

^^ they threatened with that last time and nothing happened, its just to bully the rule makes into doing what the teams want

I think it's safe to say ferarri need f1 more than the other way round. Especially now with none works teams doing all the interesting stuff. If Ferrari pull out of f1 how do they propose to advertise their cars? The whole point of owning a modern Ferrari is that your getting the f1 technology in your road car?

oh dear once again ferrari start crying. there like little babys and mr magieca is there little arse wipe and in my opinion a complete cretin who has no alegance to this country whatsoever. get rid of him and mosley and who cares if ferrari are no longer in f1 bring on another manufacturer that dont snipe and cry everytime something doesnt go there way. oh and while im ranting can we have some decent comentators that are more interesting and frankly more exciting like the moto gp boys Toby Moody, Julian Ryder, & Randy Mamola. brundle frankly is a bitter and arrogant **** in my oppinion that only seems to mention drivers bad point's and he wanders why the pit lane hate him so much

so why havent they had any decent results?

Naith

having a fast car doesnt guarantee results

and they have only stepped up in the window between bahrain and spain

Micky

Its all political bargaining at the moment, Toyota were the 1st to say they wouldn't enter 2010 because of the cap. If things carry on about the only teams will be Brawn and Williams.

Something needs to be done about F1 - personally I'd say its the immediate removal of both the arrogant old dwarf and the sexual deviant. If that means a breakaway FOTA series so be it - F1 does need Ferrari as it does need the rest. What it doesn't need is the ridiculous ego's of these old scrotes, who have collectively extracted the lifeblood out out of it into their own backpockets.

F1 without Ferrari would not be good.

By far the biggest and best supported team on the grid.

Ferrari have had a terrible time of things in the past; 80s and early 90s where they have had to play second fiddle. Success brings power in any walk of life and its up to the rest to knock them off the top spot, not for Ferrari to step down.

Bennetton and now Renault have always been my team so im not Ferrari's biggest fan tbh, but if they were to quit it would be terrible for F1.

I think Max Moseley is bad for the sport, and F1 without Ferrari will be sux! I'm a massive Scuderia Fan!!! But i do support them if they pull out, as i hate all the regulations now in place in F1!

Never been a big fan of ferrari, but to me they are a part of F1 and would be a shame to lose them, would also love to see them try and succeed with the £40m budget

Now Renault are saying the same.

Bernie and Mosley got some serious work to do unless they want F1 turned into a load of no-name teams. I don't really suppose Bernie will give a sh*t, he's trousered half the profit from F1 and is nearly 80.

And not surprisingly Renault have now taken the same stance and are threatening to leave.

Yes F1 does need to trim its costs and loose some of the excess but knee jerk reactions and the farce of rule instability, two tier systems and the joke of KERS are not part of this.

The easiest way out of this is a breakway championship of say 14 rounds in Europe and American continent without the egos and meddling of the deviant and the old dwarf being involved.

could not agree more ,seano.seperate championship would cut the little dwarf down to size.(that would be about 6 inches then)lol

Well it could be all change at one helm come this autumn as Mosley's tenure is up. The talk has been since Rascassegate in 2006 that Jean Todt was being groomed as his replacement.

As for this current dispute between the FiA and FOTA, its just beginning to remind me abit of the rows in the 1980s between the FiA's subcommittee FISA, oh and funnily enough the Constructors previous incarnation as well FOCA.

That did see a World Federation of Motorsport initiated by the constructors and one race held before returning to the main race series.

And if Ferrari, Toyota and Renault do pull out, then USF1GP, Lola and Aston Martin are thinking of tendering to enter the 2010 championship, so are a number of GP2 teams and Mike Gascgoyne and Aguri Suzuki are both thinking about entering teams.

There's also 8 GP circuits being talked about as possibly returning.
