Anyone ever had a ticket for dirving with their fog lights on? One of my little pet hates :twisted:

I got told off when i was about 18 as apparently my candles were too bright :lol:

But I agree, the law states that they can be used only when visibility is below 100 yards i think so why oh why do people have them on all the ****ting time :evil:

Never had a problem myself.

Just tell the police that you cant see the end of the bonnett and that having them on helps you. Or that your house has a 200 meter driveway that isnt lit and that the fog lights help you see.

I got pull whan i was 17 in a Ford Maverick at the time they followed me from a pub and pulled me over breathilised me but once they realised i hadn't had a drop to drink they strarted checking the car tyre etc bearing in mind it was only 3 month's old at the time :?

And then he said '' do you know it's a offence to drive with your fog light on in normal weather conditions'' Here a £40 fine have a nice day :cry:

It is a bit annoying when people stick their fogs on when its bright sunshine haha.

Its not one of my pet hates but I can see it annoying people.

What gets me is that the Police will fine you for having them on yet Xenons are far more dazzling than fog lights anyway. :roll: :roll:
