Great looking car but is it me or does the boot opening look really narrow? I am just thinking of Emma's suitcase when we go away!

the boot is very narrow and high and will be slated off in certain magazines.
It is about the same as the Scirocco though.
The Show car had dark head lining as well,so that and the small rear window made the rear look really dark and small inside.
This is a true coupe/hatch really.

Has it got a proper rear seat? I know the Scirocco only has two seats in the back.

I am doubting whether this will be a family car. I reckon I can get a kid or two in the back of the R26.

seats are roughly the same as the current car,just not sure if the headroom is the same.
It could be just because the windows are smaller,that it seems a bit more confined in the rear.
I would be surprised if the boots as big ?

Has the engine had a complete overhaul from Renault or is it the same. I am not a fan of a one central exhausts. Ren sport yellow looks nicer than LY.car still looks awesome

I spent a while researching. The best bit is, its not one of these you need to dismantle to get it in!

The black tube/hose is Renaults new in car audio system, so just like the Focus Rs it will seem faster than it really is .lol.

I checked the underside of the engine cover and it just had the 180 on it,no other engine.Think Renault might of learnt by earlier mistakes.
Strange it didn't have the correct cover,plus one of the rubbers was missing.
I mentioned the 275 to the Renault chappy and he just gave a little smile but said nothing.
So either he has heard the rumours as well or knows something but is keeping stumm.
I then mentioned that Renault should come out with the truth as quickly as possible, because there will be a hell of a lot of potential buyers hanging on for a car that might never come and they will loose sales on the Rs250.

Maybe Renault still have a few surprises.
Maybe they will even offer the double clutch gearbox that is available in the diesel range that I saw at the show.:ohmy:

THAT was my first question I pointed to the sales guy, but no details available on that so far.

3. Probably the same 1200 jobbie for the clutch as well

I was talking to a Renault rep about the possibility of the 275 coming out and how the rumours started.
Then he was just as interested as me to rip the cover off and have a look.
Once we done that and the bonnet was up,loads of people gathered around to look so he left it up for a while.
I just popped back over and took it back off and started taking a few pictures.
Then another rep came over and asked if he could help and we started chatting some more.
No one seemed to mind about me taking pictures,if anything they were very helpful.

Nice to know everything was so friendly. I've been on some stands where the attitude was not like that at all.

Turbo doesn't look to be much bigger than the TD04 in the current one? Would be a different unit for the 275 then i'd guess (if it will ever exist).

Looks like an ND box to me? Know they're using the PK4 in the cooking one but they're surely not going away from an ND0 in the RS especially seeing as the LSD side of things is already developed? Stranger things have happened though.
