After spending the weekend detailing the 197 and given I haven't posted any for a while I thought I'd get some pics up.
I gave it a full detail and wanted to get it sealed up for the winter so this is what I did.
Removed the wheels, cleaned them inside and out then waxed them.
Washed the car
Clay barred it
Polished it with some poorboys SSR2 and a Meguiars G220
Glazed using Clearkote red moose
Sealed with Poorboys EXP
Waxed with Dodo Orange crush
and then a quick spray with Dodo red mist.
Here are my pics

Looking fantastic. Love the yellow and brown leaves contrasting against the car.

Favourite photo is the 4th one down.

stunning matey.......

....only thing left is to paint the hubs gloss black next time the wheels are off, you will be surprised how easy it is and how much a difference it makes..

Thanks mate :)

The hubs have been painted but they could definately do with a touch up. I got to touch that caliper up as well, a stone left a nasty mark :(

Car's looking awesome mate top work.

Only thing to be aware of is putting Red Mist straight onto new wax. Apparently the solvents in it can strip the wax off so you need 24 hours for it to cure before putting on the Red Mist.

Apparently though you can put Dodo waxes over Red Mist so any worries just put another coat of Orange Crush on. :)

Either way though, good work.

Pleasure mate, didn't wanna see your wax go to waste hahaha.

Apparently Red Mist Tropical is the same but without solvents so you can put it straight on after waxing.
Also I found Red Mist evapourates too quick on a warm panel so the Tropical is meant to be good for that too. Although yesterday I applied Red Mist straight to the paintwork and because it was cool it was ideal.

Car looks stunning though mate. I need to do mine before the onset of winter but it goes into Wests at the end of the week and they parked it under a tree last week so my paint is really rough. Ill do it next weekend me thinks!

You camera did a pretty good job of getting the colour right on the car considering its a Point and Shoot Rich!

I think that is the normal Red Mist but this is the 'Tropical' one which you can put straight on after waxing -

To be honest they both do the same thing and I've not had a problem with the normal Red Mist, except when applying it on a warm day spray it onto the microfibre not directly onto the paint. :)

It seems to work pretty well, I am still going easy with the DA as I dont wanna go mad with it and damage the paint.
I also use dodo lime prime for the smaller area's which seems good aswell
