Hi mate...I was waiting for someone to ask...and had a feeling it would be you...those pictures are not actually my car...I've left the suspension alone for now as I use the car a fair bit on the road and like the current balance plus I want to see how the power upgrades and brakes work with the standard suspension.
G12RY_X 24-10-2009, 19:23:17 i dont think the suspension needs work on the damping side, if it was slightly lower i think it would be enough

OK, I thought you had a change of heart. That must have been the other R26R in the shop then.

It's not cheap I agree.
However, it's not as though it's just a replacement set of discs, it's larger discs of MUCH higher quality, same with the bells and re-location of the caliper to accomodate it all.
IMHO they're about the best available and I do a lot of track work and the last thing I want is either the pedal dissapearing when I go for it or a cracked disc exploding on track.
My OEM discs quite frankly shocked and scared the sh*t out of me when they came off and I wouldn't want another set to be honest!
Other work is:
Intercooler
Hybrid Turbo
Full Decat
Dump Valve
Custom remap (rolling road)
Brake cooling ducts
G12RY_X 24-10-2009, 19:33:36 they bigger aswell? what size are they and what make? i thought they were just the AP's

330mm fully floating and yes, they're AP.
Naith 24-10-2009, 20:21:30 i hate you! ;)

keep us posted
jaybyme 25-10-2009, 08:15:52 what power levels are you aiming for ?
Brake cooling ducts seem a bit of a problem on the washer bottle side, so it will be interesting to see how you get round that problem.
Another car in Germany has just gone bang as he didn't listen to warnings about going over 300ps with standard pistons,

I believed that will be the target figure :sweatdrop:
jaybyme 25-10-2009, 10:04:59 I think I would settle for 290bhp and a nice flat torque band, rather than out and out power.
Mind you you could also strip the engine and go for 350bhp but then it might be competition for your GT3, lol.
looks like you're going to have one hell of a car anyway.
Think I would still drive the GT3 though.
