Hello fellow 225er`s, I`ve been following every ones antics (very entertaining!!) on this forum for over a year now and have quitely been `doing-things` to my baby. Adam, removed side-mouldings, unclipped RS-tips, sprayed with black 2-pack paint (with no hardener) allow to air-dry (1-2days) carefully lift paint away from lettering with sharp model-knife, finish off with 2-pack clear-coat (with hardener) to seal-the-deal......simple realy!!! :wink:

Really like what you've done to the car, Did you purchase the F1 wheels or get the Cup/Trophy wheels painted?

I really want a set of the F1 wheels as I think they would look good on the, how do you say, Flymo but didn't know if you would get a good finish by painting the anthracite ones.

If you did get them painted what sort of cost?

Mike....the wheels are genuine `F1` articles. After `much` phoning around of all the midlands based dealers, Renault in Shirley, Solihull was the only one who offered me 20% off without hesitation...£895.0 the set :cry: but worth every penny I think!! (quality & finish is superb) The std. tyres 225/40x18, wheel nuts/lockers, valves etc are a straight swop-over

£900 for the set dont seem to bad,

you fry finding a good set of wheels in 18s and 8.5 wide that will fit the megane and the original tyres for under a grand.

usual suspects.....s-colm pinch-bolt, rear wiper packs-up on long trips, front time-wipe goes from `0` to `mental` & back again? and poss.a new one??....brake servo vacuum-reserve disappears (pedal goes rock-hard) after 3-4 hours standing & always overnight.......We shall see eh :!:
