Hi all just before I order my new 250 any one actually seen the yellow itself in person and is it mettalic as there trying to charge me for mettalic paint work. It doenst look it to me but I may be wrong
Hope to hear some of your responses
Also has any one had a price yet and heard of any good deals by the dealers yet

Mate DONT go for yellow.

If you have not seen it in the flesh you will be disappointed. Going from a LY as well will be a huge shock !!

Im in two minds for the Oyster Grey and White myself !

And both were at Oulton Park Yesterday and im still sat on the fence.

The white looks the nuts, without a doubt. The issues i have is that it shows the dirt up very badly !! And im worried it may age a little, as its very common now.

The grey looks great, but it blends in too well with "normal" cars. Hides the dirt well too !!

I hear the Capsicum red is a very nice colour to !

What alloys you going for ?

going for the 18s I didnt want any issues with the laquer peeling in a few months and having to go to renault and argue about it. I like white and dont mind cleaning it.still undecided....i would love to see the yellow though is it a mettalic??

I was going for the 18's. But then when i saw the white one with kerb marks, shows up nice silver bits !!

woodsey i think the red looks great personally - really sporty colour but white my favourite

but if u kerb the diamond cut ones its gonna spread i think

lol the only reason i know is cuz I had a lexus and that done it and they replaced the wheels numerous times

i am unsure about colour choice now. I agree red looks nice but it doesnt do it for me always reminds me of a basic clio a friend of mine once had

The yellow is defo not metallic. I have it on good authority shall we say ;)

As for the red, its the capsicum so not the usual red on clios or R26's.

Spain can't do it, hence no option for it. Great loss, but im hopeful it won't be the last we see of it !!

im definately considering Blue, from the pics ive seen it looks awesome, just need to see more examples with the 18's, seen way too many press cars with the 19's.

Oyster Grey or White...

I definately don't like the Cup wheels, but prefer the standard 250 wheels. But I would what a Cup Chassis.... argh!! I like the 19's but don't fancy spending £200 a tyre.

Good thing i'm skint at the moment then :)

I think the Cup is good buy though, especially considering the price if you add the Cup Chassis to the standard 250.

As you don't seem to lose too much with the Cup.

What spec's are you guys going for?

That would be cool :) i like the yellow somehow....just wonder if thats an official colour...not like the yellow they had at the IAA that you can't even choose

Here in Austria we have to pay 133 € extra if we want the "racing yellow"

To anyone who drove the 250 at oulton can you comment on the visibility from the driving seat.

Bit of a sad question I know but I'm guessing that you can't see much in the rear three quarters or via the rear (guessing you prob weren't looking there when on teh track!!). Am hoping to order one in the new year just have a slight concern about visibility which looks like being a downside of the new look. My wife has a honda civic and I can't stand driving it coz the A pillar's block so much of the view and you may as well not bother looking behind the drivers window as you can't see anything, it's v v annoying at roundabouts and parking maneouvres, slightly sad thing to comment on I know, just annoys me!

You lucky *******s, Renault Finland told me that they wont bring any of these to Finland... ARGGH! (same thing with Twingo Sport and Clio 200!!)
Well, when i bring one from sweden/germany couple of years later its going to be "quite" rare ;)

the visibility is less than the current megane and the back of the car is a little dark due to the small windows.
