Excuse my ignorance guys but thought I would ask anyway.

Are the RS 250's actually offically out now then? Looking on the forum I can see that some of you lucky individuals already have yours but I didnt think they were 'on the road' so to speak yet?

I know you've have been able to order them since late last year but just wondered why some are still waiting for theirs. (most of which have been given a date of March?)

Or is it purly down to when you ordered it, the backlog of orders and the spec you ordered??

They are available.

The reason why some have them is that Renault basically built a bulk load of them with various specs. So those that have got them have just gone into a show room and bought it, not actually speccing up what they want, unless the car that is in the showroom has the spec and colour they want.

Those like me that have ordered their car last month are having them custom built to the spec, colour etc that we want, which is how the Renault Sports usually work.

yes there are some out there.some dealers got 2-3.showroom model/demo.i was lucky enough to get one before it went in showroom.right place right time.launch day was 15th jan.i believe mine was the first one on the road as i got it on 14th.(i had to drive round with the cover still on).lol

wayne, i wouldn't advertise you had it a day early too much. You'll get your dealer in a LOT of trouble !

Id be suprised if Renault UK did. I know when the Twingo was launched, they were very strict on when they could go out on the road. They monitor these forums anyhow, so i guess they'll take it up with the dealer if they feel fit.

lol its all right for some, I ordered mine the 3day it got realeased, dealer said it would arrive at the dealership on 16th Feb, its not gone into to production yet so fat chance of getting it come march 1st :(

I ordered mine on the 11th Jan and I don't collect untill the 16th of april.
