I guess I am the messenger of doom, but as I thought and mentioned, there is now a possible delay with the Leather Recaro seat option................

We have been informed by Renault, late today, that there is indeed a problem with this option, but I have not had a chance to get to the route of the possible delay.
I will need to clarify this issue on Monday and see if it will indeed impact on delivery and if there is away around it. ie..No Recaros, but cup pack.

I will keep you posted..........

Well I spoke to my dealer this week and he contacted Renault and got me chassis number and they said mine was on time still even with the leather problem, hopefully its just the people who didnt order in December or Renault will be getting looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooots of complaints just from me

oh dear not good news to be hearing on a friday night.
Have you got any more specific details like denty said will it affect our ones that were ordered early december or just new ones?
Can you check our individual order status's and see where they are?

It was posted by Renault late today, so no one there until Monday morning!!
Not sure if it is a blanket response or fresh orders that are effected.
All I can do is wait until then and hopefully, someone will put their head and be counted...

What about renaultsport forums and pestering the guys on there think there will be any insider info to come from them

I never spec'd Leather with mine and have a 21st May delivery date which is probably the last one I have seen on here and Renaultsport forum

There is probably another issue that has slowed down the delivery date's

My salesman received a email from the head of Renault distribution today.....saying yes they have a problem with the supply of the Leather Recaro option but conserning the customer order i will only be extended from the 19th April to the 5th May.
Overall its not to bad if its stays like that......and the guy from Renault who sent the email is the man in the know supposedly......but if it changes again in a couple of weeks i think i'll be starting to look for a used Focus RS.

sorry guys, and im a die hard renault fan so im not just saying that either,

renault can never get anything right, the i.d leather option on the v6 was a joke..only about 6 cars were ever sold with it before they axed it!

As Andy has said the delay is frustrating, there showing a +2 week delay in the leather option stating your Promo week)Expected week of delivery) +2 weeks.

Like Andy I'd be asking for some light on the situation from Monday, cloth Recaro's are as before.

It must be very trying for the delaers which I understand but also very frustrating for us with cars on order as it has been a while already, I placed my order forst week in december so been 3 months already. I was aiming for a 1st march collection thinking that would be plenty of time as I ordered so soon then explained end march/april, I guess I chose to wait as I was told this initially. After going thru such a long wait and then to be told there will be a further delay and possibly no chance of seeing leather recaros does make me slightly concerned. I am sure Andy is working very hard to see what he can find out as he has been very good all the way thru my order process. Fingers crossed for some good news on Monday.

I'm just about to put my quotes in for my new lease car over the next 2-3 weeks and am trying to work out spec - I was thinking of the standard seats or the cloth Recaros, but was worried about wear. I was thinking the perfect compromise would be the leather ones, so got my fingers well and truly crossed they'll be back available for order in the next fortnight!

Hi. They are now today available for factory order, but with possible delays.
Will know more on Monday.

Well I ordered a car yesterday morning which was a FF250 with Cup & Recaro Pack and that was showing 15th May, I do personally expect that date to move back by around 2 weeks and the customer knows this but wouldn't it be nice if it were to come back on line
