I dont want to speak out of turn but this is really for Mat as it is his premises Could we not drop an Email to PFC ( Performance French Cars ) to see if they are intersted in making an apperarence to do a feature. Fast Ford, Redline ECT allways do rolling road shoot outs so why not a French mag. It would be a chance for TDF & a few proud Megane owners a bit of glory & to get a bit of a mag write up. I would be prepared to mail them once this is a deffo but i think it maybe would be better coming from Matt or maybe Nick as he is the organiser.

Mag features etc. are all well and good but very often we have kit in the shop that the owners/teams behind it do not want pictures of that they don't control i.e. if it's not a photo of it mint, on track and running they'd rather not have photos anywhere. The F3's and Prototypes we work with are a good example.

We're getting a Mirage Grey 133 with Cup, Panoramic electric sunroof, climate and Bluetooth sound pack plus stereo. And I'll be on the insurance.... oh yeah!! :)

The day was excellent & the weather held off. Good & bad news all round really with some problems discovered & a certain 250 making more power than expected. Everyone was very hospitable so a big thanks for that & thanks to Matt & his crew for their time ( & biscuits ). Just a shame the butty man didnt make it, that would have completed the day.....

Some R/R dont count the first run so that is maybe why it isnt counted as your best. Not sure how Matt works though.

Ordered it last year with faith that it would be a good car. Hasn't disappointed. It's a better car than I could have imagined. I'll probably stay with RenaultSport now, found a car that fits me perfectly (Until I win the Lottery and buy a Lambo ;) )

Paul @ RS Tuning told me he was expecting a 45bhp upgrade with the stage 1 map. That would see me at 315bhp which is some serious f-ing wellie! Without even contemplating a de-cat, intercooler and stage 2.

Matt said there's currently a 250 running a stage 1 map. Needs a few more miles and a couple of track days under it's belt before they'll release it. They don't want to use customers cars as guinea pigs - fair play.

Already told Matt I will be there the same day it's availible. Group buy??

Had a good morning just a shame I had to shoot off so early! Will get the vids I took up on youtube and get them posted asap. Not so good news though on the way home my clutch has expired :(, looks like 52k (26k of those mapped) has taken its toll.

Oh well cloud and silver lining and all that, standard or uprated/single mass flywheel/clutch? stick with the 225 box or stick an r26 box in there or get a quaife atb in my box?

Gutted for you. But such are the risks of owning a tuned car. My girlfriends nan calls my car the Yellow Peril, lol. Always a good oppotunity/reason to uprate.

Did dale get good or bad results?

Shame mine had to run with the bonnet closed so the results were alittle floored. Matt said it could knock 10bhp off, so my figures would of been what I wanted at 265bhp. Other wise very happy with my torque curve and power delivery which holds at peak (6000) all the way to 6500.

Will be getting my bonnet catch sorted for next time and hopefully injectors, forgevalve and stage2 on to help me achive near 280.

Lee's car was awesome, turbo upgrade is so much more than just peak power. It sounded mental on the RR, wish I'd asked for a passenger run :(

I have an after market carbon bonnet so there is no catch just a lip for the stand to hold it up. Matt didn't want to risk the fan pushing it off and damaging the carbon so he had to run with it down.
What he said was when a cars moving on the road the air gets into the bay threw the grills and escapes from underneath. On a rolling road your car is at a stand still obviously so the bonnet is up to get the air in to force it out the bottom and away. With mine down the air stayed in my bay so heat soak and loss in power up to or sometimes over 10bhp. Kind of makes sense and thanked matt for not taking any risks with my car.
With this in mind I would have got over 260 which is what I was hopping so next time I'm going with a proper bonnet catch so no excuses on my part lol.

sorry to hear that mate. You need the decat to make over 270torque wink wink. Shame mine couldn't run with the bonnet open as I would of got in the 260 area (I hope)
