This place here (http://www.nationwide-cars.co.uk/discountcars/audi.php) does Audi's, but not at the discounts we're used to for Renault's!

I'm sure a bit of hard bargaining with a dealer should show these sort of discounts too?

You lookin for an s-line Andy !! :wink:Hope not! S-Line just means it's had some styling mods. E.g. 1.9TDI S-line means it's a TDI with sports body kit.

Not to be confused with the S range of cars, i.e. S3, S4 etc.

BMW do the same with their cars, you could buy a 330 M-Sport Coupe which is just a 330, but with a sportier body kit, it's not an actual M3 now...

No prob! I thought S-line was this 'New' type of car for a bit. Then realised Audi are just selling sportier kits, slapping a little badge on and making loads of money from the glory of the actual S range of cars!

i dont mind if it is a S-line audi, but am likeing the A4 andA6 estates at the mo,

they do a sweet 2.0T with a the s-line on or if i had the money the RS4 or 6,

even some of the TDIs are great lookers.

RS6 avant is one of my dream cars although in this day and age you need to be very well off to afford to run,tax,insure a car like this its also one of these cars where it only suits where you have a big home to go with it other wise it will just look like a rebadged kitted A6 avant tdi etc..

a 225 will never have good resale a modded one even less, through a dealer mite not be a good idea but through a forum like this or Cliosport.net mite be better as there are quite a few people eyeing up megs seen as the 197 isnt floating many peoples boats.

insurance for me and ali on a RS6 twin turbo V8 is around the £7-800 mark, not to bad as it is 480bhp :D

found a nice one for £27k in red, is an estate also

The A6 is one nice car. Used an 3.0 diesel for towing and you'd never have known I was pulling a trailer and car ! Loads of grunt, but to get behind the wheel of a RS4 or RS6 would be great.

I cycle to work and most mornings there is an RS6 that comes past me - and I always know it's coming before I see it, looks the nutts too.

Down at the station the other morning for my daily commute, there was an RS6 Avant that hossed away from the lights, what a sound, a really angry V8 snarl.

Long story but my bosses boyfriend (boss is a lady!) has a new RS4 convertible and it is like nothing I have seen or heard for a car that small!!! Yes small....after all it has 450bhp in an Audi A4!!!

It is a stunning car.....he buys and sell top range cars so gets awesome motors all the time. The seats are wicked....massive big Recaros. The noise is just off the scale...best part of it.

She has a Bentley Cont T, I have driven that and had an SL55 AMG before that....also driven that....man I love fast cars!!!! :lol: :lol:

I always get shot down for this, but VW/Audi reliability always concerns me. Not sure what you UK blokes have experienced. I once bought a new TT which was a nightmare - also always saw the old S3's with blown turbo's etc lined up outside the audi dealer. Not to mention all the stories of new cars having gearboxes replaced etc...

Audi reliability isn't up to all that much. I think they score highly on build quality and design. My brother-in-law had an ex demo A4 TFSi Avant that needed recovering twice within a week for failed coils. A number of other problems and in the end he lost confidence and rejected the car. They offered a new A4 2.0 TDi Avant which he accepted and touch wood it's been ok.

my dad has an audi a4 s-line avant 3.0 TDI DSG quattro latest one with 230bhp and god knows how much torque, in sport mode its freaky quick also maps easliy upto 270bhp its an amazing car like perfection but it just doesnt feel very special even though it looks special so many audi`s on the road and the S-line kit has made every bog standard audi look like an RS model.
but like i said the seats are recaro, brakes are brembo its got 18" and quattro loads of grip but predictibly loads of understeer. it actually felt a bit too fast for the roads i was on maybe im gettin old :lol:

Just an addition.....I was sifting through some magazines in the chinese the other night and happened to see that Audi are bringing out an RS3....mmmm sounds interesting...so I had a look on t'internet and it looks AWESOME.....then I searched for the price. Bairing in mind it is going to be 340bhp (S3 is going to be 240bhp)....wait for it......£38,000 BLOODY HELL! The S3 which I guess is a competator to our 225's is going to £30,000...IMHO thats just daft!?

What about the BMW 130i M Sport, lists at £26,540 and that's before you spec it up. Would easily approach £30k with a half decent spec. Great engine, minging body, no boot space, no rear passanger space and basic it's the same price as a 350z :roll:

but that just makes me mad that she`s a talentless minger and still can afford a near supercar £45-50k saloon/avant with 450bhp and probably doesnt even know it

tv people are loaded, stupid and talentless almost like footballers but they at least can kick a ball into a net, it would seem to be rich in this country you have to be a pointless waste thats footballers, TV celebs and chav`s being payed by our taxes.

ive just helped setup a Cisco VOIP Server Cluster and got paid about (in hourly terms £25 :( . Davina points her beaky nose at the camera for 20mins and makes £1000
