Request it with Evo mag. they state in their mag for peeps to come up with the comparison ideas. Im sure would be an interestin test!

The R26 on PS2s would be about 1.5 sec per lap slower.

Is anything changed on the R26.R mechanical wise Engine,Gearbox, Diff ? over the R26 ?

Different configuration you'll be on Clarki. More than likely will be the full circuit you'll be tackling.

Surprisingly the Focus RS is not that quick around Bedford West at 1:30.8 when tested. My rough punt on the numbers would have the R26 about the same as the RS. But that was based on the old R26R time of 1:29.0 though. A Clio 200 Cup is only 1 sec slower than the Focus RS and the R26 is quicker than the Clio.

The old Performance Car magazine did run them both on the same track before it folded. If someone has a copy, you can compare the R26 and R26R times.

So much of this will be circuit/condition dependant.

Only if it is dry, only if it is dry. You were a passenger for a few laps and it was one of the best sessions of all time for me.

They should test the cars on circuits they use for track days. As far as I know the only use two circuits at bedford. The full GT during the day and whatever one they use in the evenings, like the renaulsport track days last year.

Mid you, if they used one of these tracks then they would need a new speedo set up, that one does not go high enough :)
