My friend has a megane cc and is having trouble. Everytime the car is sat idling the revs dip to 500 and feels like the engine is going to cut out. However if you rev the engine above 2000 revs it will idle normally for a few seconds then drop to 500 again. She has had the car in the dealers and they can find nothing wrong. Any help or advice would be much appreicated ;)

I don't if it's this but could be the air intake, watched a show last night there might be a regulator which controls the amount of air when idling. on the show it was loose so they refitted it and two mins later fix and working fine hope it helps.

Throttle body is clogged I take its a 1.6 you may need it reset by renault.
