Hi folks,
I am new, was browsing the web for 225 news and got here!
Take a few moment for intro:
I am from Singapore and got my Megane 225 (2 doors hatch, orange tone) a year ago. Previous ride is a Clio 1.4A
There are less then 10 Megane 225 on Singapore road, what a shame! Not much to chat about 225 at our local forum. Hope to gain more from you folks here. :wink:

You are spot on, we will be having our anniversary (dunno how many) renault meet on the 15th Oct. It should be similar like those you organise in the UK (I suppose). possible to have it parallel import? That's what is happening now in Singapore when some models which is not available thru the local agent.
But must be sure that the local agent will agree to service the car or else you can forget about it. Usually, cheaper thru paralle import, also can specify the options you desire.

and to my knowledge (from the renault salesmen) the cars in stock are all imported directly from singapore..
once iv asked one of the salesmen to ask his boss if its possible to import the 225 to brunei..
and he said that his boss was reluctant to do so as it will affect the golf gti sales (renault is in the same building as vw and under the same management)
and recently i heard renault is importing more phase 1 meganes from singapore.. and not phase 2s.. :?
slow business..?
would like to get my hand on phase 2 rs!

You may want to try again because Renault dealership has just changed hands to Wearnes. Better service and also more agressive in sales. BTW, previously Renault and VW were owned by Excluzive now no longer, so you might get your chance!
